I´m Joe, a German photographer who prefers the pictorialist style of painting-like photography over pixel peeping.

Most of my cameras are older than 50 years, most of the films I work with are expired at least 20 years ago.

I like the imperfection and unpredictability of old equipment, the grain, the shifted colors, the mood it provides.
